This temperature is necessary because the spoilers are secured using a high-elastic double-sided adhesive tape that is specially designed. To start, the trunk lid must be thoroughly cleaned using a cleaning agent or shampoo. Then, the area must be dried well. It is advisable to further treat the trunk with isopropyl alcohol to remove greasy residues that will hinder the perfect adhesion of the mounting tape or silicone. Position the spoiler at equal distances from the left and right sides of the trunk to achieve the most accurate symmetry. Make marks with masking tape or another material where the spoiler fits to serve as a guide. Apply the double-sided tape to the spoiler. Heat-resistant silicone can also be used. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT not to seal the ventilation holes (small holes in the spoiler) with tape or silicone! Place the spoiler on the trunk, peeling off about 2-3 cm of the double-sided tape in advance, pulling it so that the peeled end sticks out to the side. This is done from both ends of the tape. However, if you have used more than one tape, you should also peel off approximately 2-3 cm from each one. Use the guide strips or points to position the spoiler correctly. When you are sure that the spoiler is positioned correctly, start very carefully peeling off the tapes, holding them by the protruding ends left from step 5. After you have peeled off all the tapes, apply light pressure on the spoiler towards the trunk to ensure it is evenly adhered everywhere. Remove the guide points and place masking tape at both ends of the spoiler to apply pressure for a while. This is done when using silicone. **Manufacturers recommend that the vehicle not be used for at least 12 hours and not exposed to water. This recommendation is to ensure everything adheres properly.
